Programming languages

  • Python - my main language. I want to work in ML and image analytics, so most of my time here is in NumPy, PyTorch and scikit-learn.
  • Java — used across previous projects such as my Wordle clone.
  • C++ — the main teaching language at Texas A&M; I work with it on data structures and memory management, including as a peer teacher.
  • HTML/CSS — this site and my previous personal site were both written from scratch.
  • SQL — PostgreSQL and MySQL, used to build and manage the databases behind the Panda Express kiosk and my bingo sheet project.

Where I'm headed

My interests are in in advancing the state of the art in AI, particularly in the areas of machine learning and large language models. I am looking for opportunities to contribute to research and development in these fields, and to apply my skills to real-world problems. I have experience in both LLMs and traditional ML models, and I am eager to continue learning and growing in these areas. I am particularly interested in projects that involve image analytics, natural language processing, and human-computer interaction.
